The first year representatives work closely with the executive board, sitting in on meetings and assisting in event planning. They have the opportunity to attend district meetings and the ASDA Annual Session, where they are exposure to ASDA's national operations and leadership. The D1 reps also get to work specifically with their class, planning events like bagel breakfasts and coffee mornings before exams.

I grew up in rural Belliville, OH with my parents, 3 siblings, a couple dogs. After I graduated from Gordon College in May of 2018, My wife Jess and I got married in the Promise Land (Ohio) in July. A month later, I started school and she began her first year of teaching 2nd and 3rd grade at Pittsburgh Urban Christian School (PUCS) in Wilkinsburg. We love being in Pittsburgh and are excited to see what opportunities arise both locally and elsewhere in the years to come.

My name is Michelle! I’m from Long Island, NY. I went to undergrad at SUNY Oneonta and graduated with a biology major. In my free time I enjoy hiking, being outdoors, and going to the gym! I also love finding new places to eat here in Pittsburgh!
